Always wondered about the house-building process? Consider becoming a volunteer Site Host with Habitat for Humanity.

The role of Site Host is to meet and greet volunteers arriving to work at the Habitat job site. You will explain the general procedure we follow when volunteering at the work site. You may provide background information and answer questions about Habitat for Humanity International and our local Habitat affiliate. You may provide a safety briefing to volunteers. Training will be provided. The time commitment is about 2 hours on the Saturday you work. We would like to recruit 8-10 Site Hosts who will work no more than once per month or bi-monthly. Interested? National Women Build Week a big success
Thanks to the efforts of more than 250 affiliates across the country, approximately 10,000 female volunteers helped build or repair homes during the fourth annual National Women Build Week.
From April 30 to May 8, women of all ages, backgrounds and experiences dedicated at least one day to raising hammers for Habitat. They laughed together, cried together and bonded over this unique opportunity to make a difference in their communities.
